Hyderabad Metro to Offer 10% Discount on Revised Fares from May 24
Hyderabad: L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) has announced a 10% discount on newly revised metro fares, effective from May 24. The discounted rates will apply across all fare zones and all three metro corridors, offering much-needed relief to daily commuters.
The fare revision comes following recommendations by the Fare Fixation Committee, a special body appointed to review pricing structures. The committee's suggestions aim to ensure the financial sustainability of the metro network while maintaining affordability for passengers.
L&T Metro stated that the fare change was introduced after carefully considering feedback from passengers. The 10% discount is part of a broader effort to strike a balance between operational efficiency and commuter satisfaction.
